The Venue

When you come to my restaurant to dine, you will be sitting in a 200-year-old house that has been transformed into a restaurant.

Check out our modernization journey while still retaining the building’s historical character…

Before

Marsha Cassel’s Kitchen on Main is located at 64 East Main Street, West Middletown, PA – has been renovated to be a meeting place, a restaurant, a place to be quiet and read or play a game with a stranger. While you are here, I hope you will pick up a book on natural remedies, culinary and healing herbs, pursue a long-forgotten cookbook or book, from your childhood, engage in conversation, and most importantly, anticipate the meal this is being prepared especially for YOU!

During

You being here is truly an experiment on many levels. When you come to my restaurant to dine, you will be sitting in a 200-year-old house that has been transformed into a restaurant. You are smack dab in the middle of a once-bustling historic town that is resurrecting to a new kind of glory. Poor Johnny’s up the street was the inspiration for me to come here, and I hope this place also inspires others to join us in this quaint little town.

After

While you are here, feel the vibe of the historical place that you are surrounded by in the 1.4 miles that is West Middletown. Admire the houses that line the street and imagine what they would be like, 100 years ago, 200 years ago. This little town had every kind of commerce that any family could need. It was self-sufficient. Today, a lot is going on. Transformations are going on all around the town. It is exciting! While you wait for your meal, walk around the space and appreciate this building and its architectural details. After you eat, explore the town. We are among so many awesome and classic structures.
